Girls and Boys Club: Into to HTML and CSS!

March 2 @ 4:30 pm - 5:30 pm

In the Intro to HTML and CSS Workshop, students will learn the foundational skills of web development by building a one-page portfolio site from scratch. Through hands-on lessons, students will explore the basics of HTML structure, CSS styling, and how to maintain their code using Git through GitHub. 

Each week combines guided instruction with creative practice, empowering students to understand how websites are built and managed. By the end of the workshop, students will have a fully functional, personalized portfolio website and the skills to continue developing their own web projects. 

We are excited to be partnering with the Girls and Boys Club to bring this programing to their students!

Workshops are twice a week 1 hour per session from 4:30 to 5:30:

  • Week 1: March 2nd and March 3rd
  • Week2: March 9th and March 10th
  • Week3: March 16th and March 17th
  • Week4: March 30st and March 31st (Showcase Day)
